We are so excited to provide Vancouver Island an alternative to injectable filler. Advanced age management treatment from Korea using topical PLLA (PLLA is a synthetically bioengineered biofilm. It’s used in sutures, open heart surgery as a protectant and nerve regeneration) (How cool!).

In order for it to work via the skin either topically or through an injection, it is electronically spun with stem cells and/or hyaluronic acid. Skin feels softer, smoother, and plumper; fine lines seem to disappear. One treatment lasts up to six weeks; a series of 5 or more can last up to 9 months.

“ Pilleo” means filler in Korean. This is the only non-invasive, anti-aging skin treatment to work by plumping the skin and adding volume to the face. (Can also be used on hands and décolleté.)

HOP+ is the only “filler mask” that is proven to work with Clinical studies that stand behind the product. There is only one maker of HOP+, Formerly Sculplla H2, which is “Tov Medical Aesthetics”  As a non-injectable volume enhancing treatment, we use PLLA that infuses on the top layer of the skin and permeates without the use of needles. PLLA micro-particles initiate Neocollagenesis, through the hair follicle, as a result of a normal foreign-body reaction to their presence. The build-up of collagen over time creates volume at the site of injection. In order to get it to absorb, we need the mask to create a shrink wrap around the hair. It stimulates the skin to make its own collagen, resulting in firmer, tighter plumper and smoother skin. We are neither performing medicine by injecting this product or removing the epidermis. The product simply absorbs through hair follicle. This product is registered with the FDA for topical filler.
